3 sets x 6 – 8 reps with 10s hold last rep
45 – 90 degree knee angle and a straight back leg with knee elevated (on toe), perform controlled hip extensions with a locked lower back (brace and keep a neutral spine).
Key is locking the lumbar back and to keep the motion only in the hip. The opposite hip (mostly Iliopsoas) is also working as antagonist when you keep the knee of the back leg as straight as possible.
