When you think about it, it’s almost as if the fitness industry is made to be broken. Like it’s meant not to really work.
For decades, people have paid coaches and gyms to help them improve their fitness and health. For some (few) people it actually works, but for the vast majority the programming simply won’t do anything:
- It’s too hard
- It’s too boring
- It’s too expensive
- It’s not effective
But why? How come coaches and gyms with years of experience don’t have a higher succession rate? The answer is clear: copy-paste.
Most so called personal trainers have one or a couple of documents they use for all of their clients. They have an Excel sheet with a bunch of workouts and they just copy-paste from one client to another.
How is that personal? And how is that going to work as good for me as it does for you?
Well, it won’t. A workout or “6-week-program” that works for a 21-year-old is probably going to be useless for a 47-year-old.
And how about being tired, sore, hungry, on a period or in a bad mood? Should I still do the same training? No, you shouldn’t and that’s just one of the reasons why the Relentless Trainer is a much better option for your fitness.
1. No templates, no copy-paste
No man is created equal and what works well for me might not work as well for you.
Of course there are some training basics that goes for everybody, but to copy-paste training plans in between hundreds or thousands of clients is a really bad ay of doing business simply because the results will be really bad.
With the Relentless app, you will get a unique training session every day – based on your demands, your settings and your abilities.
2. The App cares about your day
Every time you start the app to generate a training session, you will start off by answering three simple questions:
- How was your day?
- How is your body?
- How did you sleep?
We know that recovery and readiness to train are important factors when it comes to performance. Studies has shown that for example bad sleep will significantly decrease your ability to absorb training and increase risk of injury. So the Relentless app will take this into consideration when establishing your volume for the day.
3. Targeting your weaknesses - building your strength
When you start using the app, it will not be very smart. Yeah, I know we said it’s a really smart sytem – but only if you give it some data to work with. At the beginning of your time with us, we need to collect as much data as we can and the more we get, the smarter the system will be.
One of the smartest things is that it will discover where your weaknesses are hiding and target them really accurately. At the same time, the app will find your strengths and keep building on them.
4. Making adjustments on the fly
Remember paragraph 2 above about readiness to train? That feature is built so the system can adjust the training really quickly based on your current status.
Same goes for everything else: did that third set of squats feel really heavy and not good at all? Don’t worry, the app will suggest you lower the weights for next set.
Was it too light? The app will tell you to add more weights.
5. Sustainable fitness - for a sustainable life
Sustainability is important to us – not only when it comes to preserving our planet, but also when it comes to sustaining your fitness for a healthy life.
We want you to use our app for ever and ever. We know what it feels like to go beyond our peak of fitness and heading down the hill of age.
The app knows this too and adjusts load and volume for your fitness, age and abilities. By doing this, you will be able to keep training with us for a sustainable and long life.
